Three Shot Sequences

Three shot sequences are sets of three shots put in order to create a sequence of events. The events are supposed to tell a story, like someone picking up litter. These three pictures below are screen shots of the three sequences in the video my 3rd period group and I made to represent sequencing. My group member Preston wrote a note and we captured it in three shots. One of him walking over to us (top), another of him writing the note (middle), and the last one of Preston showing us the note (bottom).

In our group we had trouble finding a good location to shoot the video, therefore resulting in us struggling to keep up with the time limit. While filming, we accidentally panned and that isn't a good thing to do. We also were a group of 6th graders, so we had trouble editing in Final Cut Pro. In this project, we were not allowed to put in voice layovers. Some tips for making good videos are to not zoom, because its very distracting to the audience, and also use sequencing because that is a key thing to include in your videos! Check out my classmates' videos and pictures in their blogs two!
